2 years ago, Aline and Willy Paul had a witty marketing gimmick of a song labelled ‘I Do’ that was trending in Kenya and Jamaica. The music video which suggested the two were in love and married was the talk of the town but was later debunked.
The pair is back with another hot collabo for 2019. Alaine was in the 254 recently for the shambolic Morgan Heritage show at Kasarani but she had time to record music.
The track ‘Shado Mado’ is out and bangs. Produced by Saldido, the jam has a reggae groove with well-done melodies that gives it an easy listen. Alaine goes back and forth with Willy incorporating some Swahili swag from time to time.
The messaging of the jam borders Gospel, motivational and uplifting vibes. The two are talented and they did put out a great video. Willy Paul did not have to do the internet gimmicks once again as the jam sells by itself.
