Why You Should Watch The Kiri Musical Play

Kiri is a musical play centered around the lives of the members of a notorious gang of bank robbers. Led by Kiri, the gang flourishes on a spree of complex heists. That is until they capture the attention of a no-nonsense law enforcement officer who is determined to restore order.

The play’s stellar cast features super-talented actors and actresses. They include; Actor Sam Ouma, Actress and Influencer Foi Wambui, Wanavokali Member Riki Gathiriki, Actor Mathew Ngugi, Actor Allan Kariuki, and performer Jodi Jubi among others. On the directors’ panel are Nyambura Macharia (music), Victor Mutiso (dance), Simwa Morris (creative), and Vicki Maimba (assistant director).

Kiri explores several moral and economic issues such as poverty, crime, and justice. Directed by Khweva Productions, the play promises to serve a healthy dose of entertainment through captivating storytelling, original music, dance, and most importantly, theatre.
