It’s not by coincidence that you have never heard Sauti Sol members attack each other. Publicly or behind doors, the four members have never talked ill of each other.
According to Bien Baraza, it’s because Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi, and Polycarp Otieno were friends first before they even started doing music.
Bien, who was speaking in a podcast, believes that they respect their friendship to appoint that they can’t betray each other.
He further believes that they are brothers and not just friends having been together for over 20 years now.
“I have not seen a Sauti Sol member somewhere talking ill about the rest of the group members,” he said.
“We have moments of therapy reflections. This is the longest relationship I have ever been in in my life. Having people I call brothers for 20 years is not an easy thing,” he said.
The band was formed in 2005 and celebrated 17 years together in December 2022.
