Where To Attend St Paddy’s Day Celebrations In Nairobi

16 March of 2018 by

For some reason, St Patrick’s Day is a big deal in the 254. We don’t particularly know much about its history, but hey – Green beer and some cool music? We’re always down for that!

There are usually one or two really great parties happening – beyond the regular bars and clubs:

This year, don’t miss out on:

Fight Night at Purdy Arms

Yup. A proper Muay Thai FIGHT Night takes center stage at the Purdy Arms in Karen – booze and blocked beating each other up. Sounds like a pretty nice way to get through an Irish Festival.

Brew Bistro Kenya

It’s all about the #LuckOfTheIrish – but really mostly about the great beer you’ll be able to same, and Brew’s eclectic crowd

The Curragh

There might not be any particularly special event taking place, but you can be certain that the Irish Pub along Ngong Road will be a meeting spot for anyone in green. Festivities have already kicked off, with a quiz night happening tonight!

Bit as we know, anywhere in this city is ready for a party. Just make sure you’re wearing your lucky… green. And don’t get too rowdy!
