The JW Show, an annual fashion event that thrives in promoting Made in Kenya by Kenyans is set to go down this Saturday at the Nairobi Film Center, formerly known as the Nairobi Cinema from 3 pm – 8 pm.
This year’s theme, which is inspired by the pandemic will see designers showcase their brilliance with the various collections all centered around glamming up during Covid.
A total of 11 designers both upcoming and established will be showcasing, and models are set to strut the runway all masked up. Some of the designers on the lineup include Betrand, Modern Couture, Dolly Designs, Tai Designs Africa among others.
In line with the Covid 19 measures, the show will only hold a maximum of 300 guests, however, the event will be live-streamed on different social media platforms.
Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) has once again partnered with the JW Show to help continue their quest to build the creative industry by empowering the youth to establish enterprises off of their talents. And the CEO, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua will grace the occasion as the guest of honor this weekend.
Sharing knowledge always at the heart of the JW Show, Saturday’s event will be no different as a panel of creatives within the different fields of art is set to have a discussion on ways to better and grow the Kenyan entertainment industry at large.
