Wakadinali To Headline Tusker Fest

Popular Hip Hop and Drill trio Wakadinali are set to headline Tusker Fest this April. The KBL-sponsored event kicks off in Kisumu on the 1st of April with subsequent stops in Meru, Eldoret, Nairobi, and Mombasa on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of April respectively.

Comprised of Scar, Sewersydaa, and Domani Munga, Wakadinali are the newest Tusker talent signees. The trio will headline the shows of the month-long series of parties alongside other artists. EABL Head of Beer, Joanne Looby expressed the brand’s excitement in working with the Geri Inengi hitmakers by stating, “We are equally excited to announce our newest collaboration with the hugely talented trio – Wakadinali. These urban pop young musicians mirror the best qualities of our target audience (the Nexters). Young, vibrant, unapologetic, artistic Kenyans taking on the world by storm.”

Wakadinali members have built a name for themselves through their consistent hits, unrivaled talent, and undisputable music chemistry. Through their sound, they have been able to create a distinctive Kenyan Drill music sound leaving an indelible mark in the evolution of Kenyan music.

The trio’s discography features hits such as Geri Inengi, McMca, Morio Anzenza, Umoroto, and Avoid Those People among others. Their latest album Ndani Ya Cockpit 3, was one of 2022’s most anticipated albums. Post-release it has continued to receive a lot of favorable reviews from fans and critics alike.
