Singer Vivian Wambui popularly known as Vivian Kenya has revealed her career came crumbling down after breaking up with her ex-husband Sam West.
In an interview with Lynn Ngugi, she said despite the two wanting their marriage to work out, it just couldn’t and Sam walked out.
The Charm and My Dream singer who met her ex-husband Sam in 2017 recounted their initial interaction where he commended her music, saying he texted her ….
“I just wanted to tell you, you’re doing a good job with your music, I like your song, and I wanted us to meet and see if I can contribute to your career as a musician.”
The two hit it off career wise as Sam became Vivian’s manager and producer, and eventually, they started dating and got married.

They broke up last year, and according to Vivian, “Everything crumbled,”
“I was not prepared at all, it was not only losing the partner that I was used to for so many years …. Business was just not good as well and I was back to being a single mother.”
The singer who has been in the industry for nearly 10 years said she fought depression and had suicidal thoughts, but revealed she has no spite with her ex-husband, and is now in a transition, and is hoping to find the right people to work with.
