In an effort to nurture talent and creativity among the youth of Kenya, Yamaha by CFAO Motors has introduced the Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge.
This two-month competition invites participants to create a video of themselves singing to a special Yamaha music track. The grand prize for the overall winner is a brand new Yamaha scooter motorcycle, while the first and second runners-up will receive Sh100,000 and Sh50,000 respectively.
Open to all Kenyan citizens aged 18 and above, participants under 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent to join the competition.
During the launch event, Arvinder Reel, the Managing Director of CFAO Motors, encouraged Kenyans to engage in the challenge and showcase their creativity and talent.
He emphasized that the Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge is not just a competition but a celebration of music’s power to unite, inspire, and uplift.
With the slogan ‘Revs Your Heart,’ Reel called on Kenyans to express their feelings boldly through the challenge, believing it would inspire the next generation of musical talent.
To participate, entrants must follow Yamaha by CFAO Motors on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and download the music track from the provided links on social media or the CFAO Motors Kenya website.
After recording a performance video with the words “Rev with Yamaha,” participants are required to upload their videos to social media, tagging Yamaha by CFAO Motors and three friends, and using the hashtags #YamahaByCFAOKe and #YamahaMotorsRoadMusicChallengeKE.
The top 50 videos with the most likes on social media will undergo evaluation by competition judges Kevin Waire, known by his stage name Wyre Da Love Child, and producer Ricco Beatz, determining their progression to the subsequent rounds.
The Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge aligns with CFAO Motors’ overarching strategy to establish enduring platforms for engaging with customers of all age groups.
