US-Based Kenyan Rapper King Kanja Hints At A Collaboration With Rick Ross

Award-winning US-based Kenyan artiste King Kanja is working on securing his biggest music collaboration yet. The Different Vibration hitmaker recently hinted at a possible collaboration with American Hip Hop star Rick Ross.

Kanja recently met the president of globally acclaimed Sovereign Brands (Luc Belaire), Brett Berish. He revealed that during the meeting he requested Brett for a meeting with Rick Ross. “Upon meeting him, I mentioned to him that I had my eyes set on collaborating with Rick Ross, and he immediately made a phone call to try and make it happen. A few days later after meeting with Brett, I was able to meet Rick Ross the following weekend in Tampa, Florida where I was doing a show with Bobby V, and coincidentally, he was on the same line-up for an outdoor concert. Nothing is concrete, but a big collaboration is in the works. We’ll see what happens.” Said King Kanja.

Sovereign Brands is a family-owned empire that houses premier liquor brands such as Luc Belaire, Bumbu Rum, McQueen Violet Fog, and Villon. Moreover, the franchise is also famous for selling Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades) champagne to American star rapper, Jay-Z.

Over the last couple of years, King Kanja has received immense support from Sovereign Brands. The elated rapper couldn’t hide his joy at meeting their CEO. He further commented on Brett’s personality by stating, “He is a great guy, with great energy and has a strong passion and connection with Africa. He is also a generous human that is eager to help one reach whatever goal they want.”

His music career boasts of several hits including 2 successful EPs – Vibes (2017), and Muchoki (2019), and 2 albums – Vibe Lord (2020) and Vibrations (2020).
