A budding actor was on Saturday 30, stabbed to death by thugs in Kasarani area, Nairobi as he was walking home from a film set.
Kenneth Magawe was killed after he was approached by a group of thugs who demanded his belongings. While handing them his stuff, Magawa allegedly recognized one of the thugs and called him by name which prompted him to stab the actor.
“So after handing them all that he had and complied with them, he seemed to notice one of the thieves and called out his name. So they decided to murder him instead,” a source told journalists.

Junizzy JuBlack, also a close friend, wrote on social media, “I woke up a sad man…. Someone stabbed my friend Kenneth Magawe to death last night on his way home, hapo tu Sunton… 😪😭😭my friend since 2013 just passed. Arrgh it was only a couple weeks ago you were singing me a tune you eagerly wanted to record with me… Damn. Am so shocked. We lost another great actor manze… Ah rest in all the peace bro.”
Kenneth was also a singer and a poet.
