“Ago” By UNGANISHA

Together with the listening party, UNGANISHA also unleashed their latest single, “Ago.” This captivating release serves as a prelude to their eagerly anticipated debut album, set to drop on November 3rd, 2023. “Ago” is more than just a song. It’s an ode to old friendships and a celebration of maintaining a childlike spirit while navigating the complexities of adulthood.

Moreover, this mesmerizing track delves deep into the intricacies of relationships evolving as we journey through life. It beautifully captures the bittersweet essence of leaving the past behind while embracing new horizons. This resonant narrative reflects the challenge of moving beyond nostalgia’s grasp to fully appreciate the present and future. With “Ago,” UNGANISHA delivers a musical gem. They also invite listeners to contemplate their own journey of change and growth.

UNGANISHA

Sonically, “Ago” bursts forth with a pulsating high-energy beat effortlessly merging with evocative layers of dreamy synths, post-rock-infused guitars, and a dynamic vocal arrangement. “Ago” was recorded at Brageveien Studio in Oslo, Norway, produced by UNGANISHA themselves, and mixed by Bernt Isak Wærstad. It was mastered by Christian Obermayer at Strype Audio, Oslo, and released by Anything Goes. Listen To Ago here.

Moreover, the addition of avant-garde percussion by long-time collaborator Ane Marthe Sørlien Holen and Norwegian folk-influenced violin by the virtuosic Victoria Johnson elevates “Ago” to new heights. This intricate and textured creation perfectly embodies UNGANISHA’s signature style, blending melancholic undertones with invigorating dance-inspired energy. A theme that promises to resonate throughout their upcoming album.
