In an exciting development for the Kenyan music industry, rising star Trio Mio has officially secured a global collaboration with American rapper Wiz Khalifa.
The Kenyan rapper was featured on the ‘Same Block’ single that brought together Nigerian-UK artist Moe Eazy and Khalifa.

Trio Mio, the young and immensely talented Kenyan artist who has been making waves with his unique style and lyrical prowess, in the gengetone, hip hop and rap sensation Kenyan music world.
Notably, Mo Eazy is a Nigerian-UK-based afrobeat recording artist who has developed a unique style and musical identity by blending his native language and traditional rhythms with Western musical style culture, and it’s gaining a strong following not only in Africa but also worldwide. He is mostly famous for his hit song ‘Red Carpet’.
The song also featured Anweezy, an Ethiopian-American producer that was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Anweezy has signed records with artists such as NoCap, BIGBABYGUCCI, Young Moe, and several up-and-coming talents.
