Track Stars Set To face Off At Kip Keino Classic

Kip Keino Classic 2023 is set to kick off this coming Saturday, 13th May 2023, and cooperates, entertainers and most importantly Athletes are getting ready for the fourth edition of the athletics championship.

The championship, part of the Continental Tour Gold series by World Athletics will see top athletes across the globe battle it out for supremacy at the Moi International Sports Stadium, Kasarani, Nairobi.

Sha’ Carri Richardson, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and More Athletes Jet into Kenya

Track Stars have been jetting into the country ahead of the Absa Kip Keino Classic continental tour.

Some of the Athletes who’ve jetted into the country include eight-time Olympic medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, 100m world leader Sha’ Carri Richardson, Olympic silver medalist Kenneth Bednarek and Terry ‘TeeTee’ Twanisha.

Other Athletes who have arrived in the country ahead of the championship include world javelin champion Anderson Peters, Kyra Jefferson, Kyree King, and Aaron Brown.

Ferdinand Omanyala, Mary Moraa Set to Participate in Kip Keino Classic

Some Kenyan Athletes set to participate in the fourth edition of the championship include African 100 record holder Ferdinand Omanyala and 800m 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Mary Moraa.

According to the event organizers, the fourth edition will see over 200 international top-level athletes square it out with our local world champions!

Kip Keino Classic Receive over Ksh. 329.2 Million Sponsorship ahead of the event is Saturday

The sporting event, which is one of the most high-profile in Kenya has received a boost of Ksh. 320 million sponsorship from the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Arts & Sports, as well as Ksh. 9.2 Million sponsorship from Safaricom PLC.

The event will see performances from Rapper Khaligraph Jones as well as Mejja.
