Yetu Festival

Top R&B group Boyz II Men made their debut in Kenya courtesy of the Yetu Festival in June. Despite technical difficulties, this show is still one of the top events that marked 2023 as it marked a significant milestone, bringing one of R&B’s biggest names to perform in Kenya for the first time.

Blankets & Wine

Blankets & Wine stole the spotlight in 2023 with four epic shows, making a powerful comeback since its resurgence late last year. The predominantly Kenyan lineup included artists such as Bien, Sofyia Nzau, Suzanna Owiyo, Khaligraph, Ethan Muziki, Maya Omolo, Okello Max, Wangechi, and Blinky Bill, creating an unforgettable fusion of music, culture, and style.

Koffi Olomide Live Experience

OktobaFest

Tusker OktobaFest 2023 expanded its grandeur, reaching East African countries – Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan. Over 100 performers, including Nyashinski, Diamond, John Frog, Wakadinali, Wangechi, and Kalamashaka, created an unforgettable celebration. This edition had more than 40,000 attendees during its month-long run.

Echoes – City of Love

Crooners Ethan Muziki held a sold-out Echoes – City of Love concert at the KICC on Mashujaa Day, captivating fans with their soulful performances. The show became an online sensation as fans shared videos of themselves singing to Ethan and Kinoti’s lyrics word for word.

Night Embassy

The global Jägermeister Night Embassy officially premiered in Kenya, with three creative directors—Chiki Kuruka, Blinky Bill, and Katungulu Mwendwa—guiding events that showcased dance, music, and fashion talents throughout November.
