Kenya’s TikTok Azziad Nasenya keeps soaring higher as far as her influence is concerned. The popular influencer has been nominated for the highly coveted E! People’s Choice Awards 2021. She joins the likes of Lupita Nyong’o and Elsa Majimbo who have received nominations for this award in the past.
Nominated in the African Social Star category, Azziad, is up against 7 other African stars. They include South Africa’s Lasizwe, Boity, Mihlali Ndamase, and Witney Ramabulana, Zimbabwe’s Madam Boss, and Nigeria’s Falz and The Oddity.
Azziad who rose to fame after her viral Tiktok dance to Femi One and Mejja’s hit ‘Utawezana,’ is one of Kenya’s most accomplished influencers. In a recent Hopper HQ report, she was ranked among the top Instagram earners alongside Anerlisa Muigai, Sharon Mundia, Lucia Musau, Silvia Njoki, and Maxine Wabosha.
The African Social Star category is one of the 40 categories up for contest in the upcoming edition of the E! People’s Choice 2021 awards. Winners will be awarded at an award ceremony that will air live on E! and NBC on 7th December 2021.
