The Virtual Anthem: Call For Kenyan Musicians To Participate In Patriotic Project

The Permanent Presidential Music Commission (PPMC) is calling for submissions from Kenyan musicians for their latest project titled The Virtual Anthem. The commission whose main mandate is to coordinate music and dance activities in the country and spearhead their development from just entertainment activities into a thriving and vibrant industry aims at recording both the Kenyan National Anthem and East African Community Anthem virtually.

Kenyan musicians (singers and instrumentalists) around the world are eligible to participate in this patriotic project, whose final recording will be aired during the forthcoming Mashujaa Day celebrations on 20th October 2020. The participants are required to submit good quality (both picture and sound) and decent videos. They should also submit details of their full names, voices or instruments, name of group or pseudonyms if any and physical location when submitting their works.

Participants are must make their submissions on or before the 15th September 2020 deadline. Hurry and make your submissions before it is too late.
