The Kenya Kite Festival Set To Kick Off!

The official new date for the Kenya Kite Festival 2018 has been set for the 6th of May 2018 at the Nairobi Polo Club near Jamhuri Show Ground. The family-friendly event which was earlier set for the 18th March 2018, was pushed to May due to the heavy rains that had hit Nairobi at the time.

This festival has been organized by Urban Live Events and it provides an exciting opportunity for kite flying enthusiasts to get together and enjoy captivating kiting displays. Since its inaugural edition in August 2012, the Kenya Kite Festival has grown to be a popular family outdoor event that has gained traction from Kenyans from all walks of life.

The upcoming edition promises to have a lot of activities for the attendees such as; kiting competitions, interactive kiddy corner, kiting stunts, aero show displays and fun games among others. The highlight of the event will be an amazing 20-30 feet show kite displays from professional kiters. This kiting event will have a picnic kind of setting hence those interested are urged to carry blankets and kangas to sit on.
