Once again, photographers have an opportunity to showcase their skills with the camera and probably be crowned the Greatest Maasai Mara Photographer of the year.
The initiative by Angama Foundation seeks to raise funds for boots-on-the-ground conservation efforts. Entries for the 2end edition of the competition are open this August.
Entry is simple, you just upload a photo which you took at the Maasai Mara within the last 12 months and pay the entry fee. Make sure you have the details of the lodge or camp where you stayed, who your guide was in the Mara, the camera settings used, and your story from behind the lens.
All monthly entries will be pitted against each other looking for the best for that month. In December the overall Maasai Mara Photographer Of The Year will be selected.
The winner takes home $10,000 in cash and 5 nights of Safari and accommodation for two courtesy of Angama Mara.
