It’s almost that time to say goodbye to 2018 and say hello to the new year and we thought we would make it slightly easier for you to figure out where to usher in 2019.
Nairobians are a little spoilt for choice with an array of events at top hotels bars and grounds.
For starters there’s the anticipated Wasafi Festival happening at Uhuru Gardens.
Then there’s the Kenyan Nights event at J’s Bar in Westlands
A number of hotels have special themes for NYE’s such as a 007 Night at Kempinski Hotel, Great Gatsby Party at Radisson Blu and a Paris themed night at Dusit. Sankara have a Ciroc Life Party. The Alchemist will have a great DJ line up and therefore looks promising too and so does Carnivore.
KICC will be hosting gospel artistes and DJs for the Totally Sold Out One experience.
One of the top events at the Coast has to be the Kilfi New Year
Or the ongoing Diani Beach Festival
Mombasa Sports Club will have the NRGWave party with a heavy lineup of local and Bongo performances – Including Ali Kiba and Sauti Sol.
In the coast and looking for something a little more chilled .. there’s a Ciroc takeover party at the Tamarind or check out the Reef Hotel for the Flight Beach Party!
In other counties such as Makueni, the county government has put together some events too …
Other out of town spots such as Angiri Camp in Nanyuki and Hell’s Gate have fireworks parties.
Acacia Premier Hotel and the Jommo Kenyatta Grounds in Kisumu seem to the place to be.
Wherever you will be when the clock strikes, we at KV wish you a fun and prosperous new year! Stay safe!
