African Legends concert goes down this February to honor both living and departed African music greats. Dubbed The Tribute, this 2-part concert has been put together by a community of Kenyan artists to not only celebrate music but also other aspects of African culture such as food and fashion.
Unlike its past format which only celebrated one artist, the upcoming edition is a melting pot of African greats from across the continent. Legendary African songs from East to West and North to South will be performed in colorful live renditions.

The performers’ lineup features a selection of some of Kenya’s finest live musicians. The singers performing on this night include Amani Baya, Chep, Daniel Chikwaza, June Gachui, Kendi Nkonge, Mellah, Nechesa Odima, Ras Amor, SERRO, Vini Ngugi, Viola Karuri, Webi, and Ythera.
These vocalists will be backed up by an expert band comprising guitarist Benjamin Kabaseke, keys master George ‘Possum’ Nyoro, percussionist Kasiva Mutua, drummer Richard Wandati, bassist Tito Monako, horn player Danson Rabuka and saxophonists Peter King’ori, Kimbassax, and Danilson Babu.
