Terryanne Chebet Quits TV Job To Focus On Her Communication Agency and SkinCare Line

Celebrated media personality Terryanne Chebet has announced her exit from Metropol Tv station after over a year of service as the General Manager at the 24-hour business news channel.

In a post on her official social media pages, the former Fanaka Tv CEO shared the news with her fans as she spoke of her achievements and experience at the station.

Today I say goodbye to my incredible team at @metropoltvke . What an incredible journey it’s been! You have taught me the real definition of being a leader and what teamwork is.” She wrote

According to the former news anchor, working with such a devoted team at the station made it difficult for her to arrive at the decision to quit her job.

She also thanked her colleagues for making her role easier and appreciated viewers who supported their contribution to the growth of the channel.

“I deeply appreciate you all for your viewership, criticism, and suggestions that helped us build the first 24-hour Business News Channel in Kenya.” She wrote

Apart from her journalism career, Terryanne is also an entrepreneur, founder, and CEO  of a communication agency; Scarlet digital and a skincare line- Keyara organics.

Speaking on her next move following her exit from the Tv station, Terryanne confirmed that she will be shifting her focus to her personal businesses and managing of her brands.

Apart from Terryanne, other media personalities who recently quit their jobs to focus on their founded businesses include Betty Kyallo and Jalango.
