Tanasha Donna has been recognized in the European Women’s International Leadership award 2023.
The award, recognized by the European Parliament & representation state of Hesse, honored seven other ‘extraordinary women’ around the globe.
European Women’s International Award.
European Women’s International award first took place in 2019 at the European Parliament in Brussels awards.
The award recognizes women who challenge male-dominated areas.
Sharing insights on the criteria of women chosen for the award, a statement reads:
“We are focusing on women who … have decided to follow their dream, to break with traditional obligations around them, to challenge male-dominated areas,”

Reacting to the award, Tanasha wrote:

I am beyond humbled & honored to be recognized by the European Parliament & representation of the German state of Hesse, & to have won the European International Women’s Leadership Award.”
The singer congratulated the seven women who won as well, adding ….
“This is big for me & is not just my win, but this is for all the female leaders who have a positive influence & impact on todays society.”

The La Vie singer has been recognized for her breakthrough in music, and business, and her film “Symphony, ‘a Nollywood musical blockbuster movie.
Other women recognized in the European International Womens Leadership Award are Morocco’s Martine Moïse, Bounthone Chanthalavong-Wiese from Germany and Nuray Erden who hails from Turkey.
Bangladeshi; Runa Khan, Marie-Consolée Mukangendo from Rwanda and Inna Pletukhina from Russia are also recognized.
