Spring/Summer Trends 2013

By Roshie Anne

With the change of seasons, comes the need to shop new trends, try some new styles, or even a new look.  Am always thrilled to see how the industry transforms itself with the any new season. For Spring and Summer, designers took us back to the ever beautiful contrast with black and white, collage mash up of prints, romantic ruffles, Influences from the East to mention but a few. Pictures do speak a thousand words, check out some of  my top three trends show cased on and off  the runway.

BLACK ON WHITE

Black and white is a back to  basics look. It’s clean and sophisticated when paired well. In as much as this look is being show cased as a trend, it also a classic look as well. Pair up your best black pants, or skinny jeans with a classic white shirt for a chic, fabulous style.

MIXED PRINTS

Boutiques and stores are loaded up with all sorts of printy frocks, tops, dresses, and pants. Add a delighful array of prints in your closet. Below are two street style looks, as well as Kerry washington in a mixed print dress at a red carpet event.

WHITE SHOE

The fashion scene is a buzz with white. White shoes to be specific. They were quite the thing several years back but this Spring, they are making a comeback.
