Kenyan Drama series Single Kiasi hits the screens for season 2 from on Monday 16 January 2023 on Showmax. It is about the lives of three women in Nairobi – Sintamei, Mariah, and Rebecca and the travails of their relationships and careers.
Single Kiasi Season 2 was directed by Insignia Productions duo Grace Kahaki and Philippe Bresson. It is set to spruce your January with an exciting plot. This season takes the drama a notch higher picking up a couple of months after the shocking events of the first season finale that threw uncertainty over their love lives. See the trailer below
According to Showmax, Single Kiasi Season 2 will see the characters go through transformational events. The season will further explore how these changes will impact the friendship of the main characters.
As usual, the cast features top talent. Gathoni Mutua, Minne Kariuki, and Faith Kibathi are reprising their roles as leads Sintamei, Mariah, and Rebecca respectively. Moreover, Michael Munyoki, Brian Abajah, Kevin Maina, Walter Bruce Opiyo, Derek Bbanga, and Maggie Kiundi are also returning.
The new cast joining Single Kiasi season 2 includes seasoned actors such as Grace Wacuka, Fidel Maithya, Quincy Rapando, Ian Mbugua, Mufasa Kibet, and Ciku Shire. This season will also usher in new actors Brenda Gasere, Ashley Kareez, and Amos Kabole Matuku.
Single Kiasi is one of the Showmax original titles. Its season 2 takes over the Thursday slot from the crime drama Pepeta which ends on 12th January after eight episodes.
