‘Sifu Bwana’ Becomes First Audio To Hit 1 Million Views On Youtube In Less Than A Week

Khaligraph Jones’ latest project “Sifu Bwana” featuring fellow rapper Nyashinski, is now standing at 1 million views, officially making it the first audio song to hit the impressive figures in Kenya in less than a week.

The collaboration has been a long time coming given that Jones spent a better part of his career trying to get Nyashinski in the studio.

The duo, nonetheless, has worked together before in a past project dubbed ‘Chukua Selfie’ alongside fellow stars Fena Gitu, Jua Cali and Naiboi.

Sifu Bwana, released on January 21, is a powerful, inspirational gospel song meant to thank God for His blessings as we begin 2022.

It went viral immediately after being released and has been topping the music Trend List since then. The song has been produced by Vic On the Beat at Jones’s studio Blue Ink.

In a previous interview with a local publication, the ‘Champez’ hitmaker opened up on his past life, disclosing that he started off music by venturing into the Gospel scene before fully discovering his talent in rap.

“I recorded my first song and it was a Gospel one in class 7. It was even played on the radio. It reached a point when I realized that I am an OG,” he said.
