Sauti Sol to perform alongside Janelle Monae, Bjork & Alanis Morrisette

 

Kenya’s Afrofusion boy band, Sauti Sol are set to perform alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry in this year’s Colours of Ostrava Festival in the Czech Republic this coming July.

The group has been very active this year on the international circuit, with a variety of acclaimed appearances at the South by South West (sxsw) Festival in Austin Texas USA and at the Festival on the Niger in Mali earlier this year.

Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech republic and the festival is considered as one of Central Europe’s largest gatherings of artistes, music lovers and producers. Colours of Ostrava will be celebrating its 11th anniversary this year and features about 16 different performance stages which include 4 big open air stages, around 6 indoor stages and a cinema. The largest of these can hold up to 15,000 fans.
