Prominent Kenyan Boy band Sauti Sol will be sharing the stage with the famous American R&B quartet Boyz II Men at this year’s Stanbic Yetu Festival on June 10, 2023.
Radio Africa Group and Stanbic Bank, who are the organizers of the festival, announced on Wednesday while expressing their excitement to have the Kenyan afro-pop band join the much-anticipated event.
This years Yetu Festival will be going down at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi and all the VVIP tickets that were retailing at Sh30, 000 are sold out as well as VIP tickets that were going for Sh15,000. Event organizers have stated that over half of the tickets have already been sold out.
“Africa’s biggest boy band now on the same stage with Boyz II Men, together giving the best love concert in Kenya! Get your main arena tickets now and let’s meet at Uhuru Gardens,” they shared via social media.
Event organizers stated this year’s concert will feature an exceptional lineup of both Kenyan and international Rhythm and Blues artists.
Headliners Boyz II Men have won an incredible nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards, and three Billboard Awards throughout their 25-year career.
Kenya will be their first stop on their first-ever Africa tour. They will also perform in Uganda and South Africa.
