Popular Kenyan Band Sauti Sol has bagged yet another coveted stage to grace. The afro pop group will be in the United Kingdom for the UK Summer Residency. The Midnight Train singers had earlier paused their Europe Tour during the COVID-19 pandemic but will now be keeping their promise. This tour will feature a run of intimate shows scheduled to take place this September.
In a post via their official Instagram account, the band confirmed that will be performing at 3 venues in London i.e. Jazz Café on 8th and 23rd, Xoyo on 9th and Laylow and 1 venue in Manchester i.e. Blues Kitchen on 15th. Pre sale tickets will be available from 20th July 2021.
There is no doubt that this band has a worldwide appeal as its members have performed on various stages across the world some of which include: Africa Day concert, Essence Festival, Africa Month Celebration and Global Citizen Festival just to mention a few. Currently they are arguably Kenya’s most sought after band and boast of a global fan base.
The Suzzana hit makers have various international collaborations under their belt as they have worked with music stars such as Andre Harris, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, C4 Pedro and Patoranking among others. Their latest album Midnight Train was the first Major Label release of the Universal Group signees. It has received positive reviews from fans and critics alike so far.
