Sauti Sol Reveal Details Of Their Latest Feature on Burna Boy’s Album

Nigerian BET award winner Burna Boy recently released his fifth studio album ‘Twice as Tall’ in the typical pan African style his music is known for.

Among the list of high flying international collaborations featured, our very own Sauti Sol have a banging track with him dubbed ‘Time Flies’ that has been on replay on most Kenyans Instagram stories music selection this week.

Speaking during a candid interview with local media stations a day ago, Bien Baraza, a member of Sauti Sol, revealed that the song was actually released back in 2018, even before Burna released ‘African Giant’.

“That song was out before African Giant,” Bien started.

On whether that worked out for them, Bien revealed that it has come out at the best possible time.

“This was the time it was meant to come out. When I listen to the lyrics, ‘time flies like a train in the night, and our album is called Midnight train. So that’s a Midnight train song and it represents Sauti Sol’s journey on a global scale,” he said.

The song in question is a feel-good song that has over 600,000 views on YouTube already, in just six days. It is also not the first time these two giants have worked together as they have ‘African Star’ under their belt which was highly successful.
