Sauti Sol and Sol Generation have officially confirmed the ‘Sol Fest’ event on their social media platforms.
The event, scheduled for Sunday, Dec.12, 2021, is the group’s and label’s first live event in Kenya post the Covid 19 Pandemic lockdown.
Sol Fest Acts
The concert announcement has confirmed it will feature Awards winning group Sauti Sol comprising of; Bien, Fancy Fingers, Chimano and Savara who we expect will perform the group’s joint projects, as well as their latest individual project, ‘Alone-together.’
Sol Generation artists; Bensoul and Nviiri The Story Teller are also confirmed acts in the event.
Due to their latest collaborations, we can also expect guest performances from Sauti Sol and Sol Generation related acts including; Aaron Rimbui, Okello Max, Amlyoto and Xenia Manasseh from projects such as Bald Men Athem, Nakufa and Rhumba Japani.

Since the announcement of Sol Fest, some Twitter users have cast doubt due to the 2020 cancelled event where Sauti Sol was expected to perform.
A Twitter user expressed their concerns hoping the event will not be cancelled, to which Bensoul responded:
