The FOMO party series is back again this weekend at Privee Westlands. Their preference is still on Western African acts and this weekend FOMO presents Runtown live in concert. The recent single ‘Mad Over’ by Runtown garnered him a worldwide fan base. The song is popping off in big festivals as the signature Afro-beat record. It also champions the new wave of slowed-down tempo afrobeat where the likes of Mr Eazi, P-Square, Wizkid and Patoranking are on.
A second time he will be in the 254; he got bangers for days. Last he performed here,‘Gallardo’ featuring Davido was his smash hit. Now he got a full album ‘Ghetto University’ which received a co-sign from Dj Khaled. He has worked with Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire on the remix to Bend-Down-Pause.
This Saturday, expect Runtown to bring down the house with bangers like Mad Over, The Banger, Lagos To Kampala, Walahi, Reason My Matter and much more.
This serves as a tease to the main party which will be on 1st July at the Carnivore grounds. 3rd installation of FOMO party should be something concrete.
The cover charges at Privee are Ksh2000/= and expect mixes from Dj Crème and Dj UV from 6 pm till late.
