Rita Ora Celebrates Her Birthday In Kenya

She’s been keeping her travel a little low key, but the British an singer Rita Ora has been in Kenya for the past couple of days – celebrating her birthday and generally doing touristy things – villages, drinking Tusker and scoping out the wildlife.

It’s been a blink and you’ll miss her situation – the musician has only updated her Instagram with photos of her trip twice, and twitter has barely received a mention.

The Big Life Foundation is geared towards protecting 2 million acres of wilderness in East Africa and was the first organization in the region with co-ordinated cross-border anti-poaching operations.

It uses innovative conservation strategies to address the greatest threats, reduce the loss of wildlife to poaching, defeat the ivory trade, mitigate human-wildlife conflict, protect the great predators, and manage scarce and fragile natural resources.

Space for Giants meanwhile is a charity working towards securing a future for elephants by ensuring they have the space and security to live in the wild forever. Most recently, they partnered up with the Ministry of Tourism, and CS Najib Balala’s ascent of Mount Kenya
