Nairobi is hosting the biggest boss – the Teflon Don and Maybach Music boss, Rick Ross. And the whole city is in a frenzy about his presence.
The city is so amped about his performance at carnivore on Saturday evening and it’s being touted as a historic event which will shape our performance landscape.
As we are warming up for the boss, he made a major announcement on his first radio interview that left many in utter shock and respect. As Ross was chaperoned to his hotel in Westlands from the airport, the crew put him on some local music and one jam absolutely caught his attention.
Sauti Sol’s Live and Die in Afrika was blasting loud in his Ranger Rover and it caught his attention. The jam is a celebration of the African continent coming of age, flaunting the richness of cultural diversity, talent, and resources.
The boss promised to lay an exclusive verse on that track Live and Die in Afrika and he asked the group to send the instrumental to his DJ for that connect. Ross has over 200 guest verses in his music career and he does come correct when he is featured on a track. So that Sauti Sol verse would effortlessly be a billboard material.

An elated Sauti Sol took to Social Media to thank the Boss and promised to reach out to management as soon as possible for the track. The jam will debut exclusively on NRG Radio if that collabo happens.
