Jiffy pictures CEO Rashid Abdalla has opened up on the coming of Maria Season 2 days after the TV series came to an end.
The citizen TV news anchor confirmed that his company will continue with production after a break in which they will discuss the storyline of the oncoming season.
Rashid was speaking during the show’s wrap-up ceremony which was attended by the actors and actresses who featured in the series.
Beyond assuring them of their return on TV screens, he also thanked all those who contributed to the success of the show.
”I know many of you knew that this was the year Maria was coming to an end. But I want to point out that many of you as actors have done more than 25 episodes, but to me, as Jiffy Pictures production, I am only counting the first season.
And I promise you there will be a second season of the show at Royal Media Services. So allow us to go sit down, perfect the storyline but you can be sure of one thing, as long as we are alive and on-air, we will be bringing season two of the show back to your screens,” he said.
The Maria series was replaced by Zora (a local show produced by Jiffy pictured) after its last episode was aired.
