Radio Citizen Managing Editor Robin Njogu Succumbs To Covid-19

Radio Citizen managing editor Robin Njogu has died from Covid-19.

Njogu died on Monday, March 14, at the Agan Khan Hospital while undergoing treatment. His death comes just days following his mother’s death.

Several politicians and media personalities took to social media to mourn the journalist and pay their last respect.

“Robin was a consummate journalist and contributed heavily to the development of radio news in the country. Sad loss for his young family, RMS and the media fraternity in the country. May God comfort his family,” said ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs CS Joe Mucheru on social media.

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua mourned the deceased as a personal friend whom he had visited in hospital.

“The other day when I visited him at the hospital he was cheerful and getting better…what a sad night,” Mutua stated.
