Jameson Connects Kenya was so good it gave me chills. Everything from the set up to the performances was top notch. There was something for everyone whether you’re into sneakers or football, foozball too. Mama Rocks was in the area too, with their amazing burgers.
There were two areas; a chill out lounge complete with a barber shop, and the main arena where Khaligraph Jones, Dela, Phy and Wangeci all graced the stage before Tinie Tempah came through and blew it all up.
Barbershop at chill out lounge
All the Djs complemented each other, Jack Rooster, DeeJay Kace, DJ Riggz and DJ Bash all threw it down. There was some old school mixes from Kace, Jack Rooster with some house beats, DJ Bash with the hip hop. It all gave the whole event a really cool and fun vibe.
Of course you cant talk about DJ-ing without mentioning the legend himself Tim Westwood. He came up just before Tinie Tempah and got the entire place on its feet. Everyone was jamming and going crazy.
Finally it was the headline acts time to show his stuff. Tinie Tempah started his set with ‘Drinking from the Bottle’ getting the already turnt and drunk crowd even more turnt and drunk. ‘Pass Out’ ‘Written in the Stars”Girls like’ where some of the hits he performed. He closed his set with ‘Tsunami’.
