While there was a lot going on this weekend, with many headed to the coast to catch Chris Brown live, the FOMO party was underway at Ngong Racecourse on Saturday. Flavour and Fuse ODG were the main acts with Dela, Ndegz and Hart the Band performing as well.
DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ UV Live, DJ Kafi, DJ Vani, DJ Syd, Deejay Kace and G-Money were all on the decks for the night. The Djs kept the party going all the way until 2 in the morning. There was something for everyone as DJ UV Live brought the Electronic Music, G-Money brought the Reggea and Dancehall, DJ Joe Mfalme brought the Hip-Hop and DJ Kafi brought the Local Jams.
The beautiful Dela was the first on stage, she had the entire audience singing along to her Swahili version of ‘Hello’. She then brought Hart the Band on and they jammed to ‘Adabu’
Flavour was up. The Nigerian heartthrob serenaded the ladies with ‘Ada Ada’ and brought the house down with ‘Uru Dia (Shake 2)’. When he took off his shirt, the ladies lost their collective minds, the decibels went all the way up. He gave such a high energy performance and the night was only just beginning with Fuse ODG coming up.
Ndegz gave a short and sweet performance and Fuse ODG’s DJ warmed up the crowd. As soon as he came on stage, the ‘Antenna’ star was all about good vibes. Reinforcing TINA (This is New Africa) throughout his performance. The high energy started when he came on with ‘Badder than Bad’ and continued as he performed ‘Light it Up ‘ and had the crowd put up their lighters and phones in the air. A beautiful moment. He closed his set with ‘Azonto’ jamming with his entire crew on stage.
