It seems that the first rule of brunching in Nairobi is to have the right squad; especially one that can dress as per the invite.
February ended with an epic Big Brunch Pajama Party courtesy of EatOut at Ikigai. Over three hundred guests dressed in their finest and most comfortable pajamas to enjoyed great music, games, endless appetizing food and a relaxed sunny atmosphere. The outfits ranged from full-on pajamas, long silky robes, deras, kikoys, sweats and even sleep masks.

Artcaffe brought their A-game with food from the Artcaffe chefs who cooked up brunch favourites in plenty. The pastry station was a major highlight, with award-winning barista Martin Shabaya delighting guests with his skills and prowess. Those who like to sip a little something as they eat were taken care of too. All-day, Mia Wines ensured bubbly was flowing steadily into glasses, Tapas were keen on light cocktails, Sikera Cider kept the crowd’s thirst quenched with their ciders while 254 Brewing Co ensured beer lovers were well tended to.

Club W provided one of the Instagrammable highlights of the event by providing a large bottle of Mara champagne that was popped in the air; raining down the champagne.

The brunch was also kid friendly as the organizers had lego pool, twister and more games.
Brunch lovers can look forward to more editions of The Big Brunch coming soon!
