International phenomenon and award-winning Nigerian artist Patoranking held an exclusive listening party in Nairobi this past weekend. Patoranking is on a global tour promoting his sophomore album ‘Wilmar’ which dropped early May.
Kiza restaurant was the spot where Kenyans were jamming to tunes off the new album. Patoranking performed most of the jams which include a feature from Kenya’s comeback king Nyashinski.
The 12-track project is dedicated to his daughter Wilmer who is the title track of the project and on the album artwork. He has to give Kenyans a taste of it as he values Kenya soo much.
“My Kenyan fans have stood by me since I began my recording journey in 2010 and I wanted to thank them by giving them a chance to listen to my latest work. My second album is a tribute to my daughter Wilmer, a reminder of why I work so hard every day so that she never lacks anything she needs,” said Patoranking.
