The Passport Experience International Festival has announced its African debut in Nairobi on April 19. The event has been organized by
Kenyan-born international DJ Fully Focus who is based in the US and will see top-notch executives from Netflix and Jay-Z’s label Roc Nation give talks at KICC.
“I’m a firm believer that self-education is the key to lasting success so the idea is to have three perspectives in this conversation,” said Fully focus.
“The American perspective, since they have done it best for years, the Nigerian perspective since their entertainment industry is booming and the Kenyan perspective since we have some successful individuals despite challenges.”
Some of the executives present will include Joy Young ( Director of Promotion, Roc Nation), London Kemp ( Global Head of Real Estate, Netflix) James Ayugi (founder Ecitizen) and Bukola Akinfaderin.

PXP Fest is a multi-cultural event where you get to travel the world without a visa, where your imagination is your only limitation.
It’s held annually in Atlanta, US, with showcases in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Texas and Las Vegas. The brand has previously been featured in The Washington Times, Vibe Magazine, Associated Press, NPR, Shade Room and Fader and endorsed by Coca Cola and Jack Daniel’s, among other international brands.
“My hope is young people leave there with a new mindset and energy so they can succeed and improve the industries they’re passionate about and the country as a whole” added Fully Focus.
