Otile Brown has become the first Kenyan artist to hit 100 Million Streams on Boomplay.
Honouring the singer’s milestone, Boomplay Music KE wrote;
“Congratulations to Otile Brown as he becomes the first Kenyan artist to join Boomplay’s Golden club with 100M total streams on Boomplay!”
The achievement makes Otile Brown one of three artists in East Africa to ganner 100 Million Streams on the platform.
“He is also the 3rd East African artist to achieve this feat after Rayvanny and Diamond Platinumz.” Wrote Boomplay Music KE.
Boomplay’s Golden Club
As part of his Golden Club member benefits, Otile Brown will now enjoy online and offline promotional support in Boomplay’s operational markets.
The Dusuma hit maker will also receive prioritisation for his upcoming releases to the platforms over 75 million monthly active listeners.
By making it to Boomplay’s Golden Club, Otile Brown joins Black Sherif the first Ghanian to reach 100M on the platform, as well as top African musicians including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy DML, Joeboy and Omah Lay.
Otile Brown who shared the achievement on his Instagram page is currently on tour a USA tour for his Just In Love Album.
