Kenyan Nollywood actress and producer Connie Kabarry has bagged two awards in Nigeria’s Nollywood Excellence and Leadership Awards (The NELAS) 2018, held in Abuja State on September 30.

Taking to social media, Kabarry broke the news that she has won the Nollywood Pan African Film Maker of The Year (East Africa) and Nollywood Actress Of The Year (East Africa) awards.

The film has grossed a total of Ksh. 3.3 million ($33, 000) in the 7 days it was shown in Kenyan cinemas with a total of 6 500 people hitting the cinemas just to get a glimpse.
