Rapper Nyashinski has been featured in this year’s Global Tuborg Open project.
Nyashinski has collaborated with American DJ and producer Diplo, the one-third of the electronic dance music trio Major Lazer, and Danish singer, MØ for a new song dubbed ‘Stay Open’.
The song was originally done by Diplo and MØ but this latest rendition has been produced by our very own, Musyoka of Decimal Records.
“I took the Stay Open theme and flipped it by rhyming about a beautiful woman who I am asking to stay open to my suggestions. Working with DJ Diplo and MØ was also great. It is an opportunity I appreciate getting”. said Nyashinski.
Now in its second year, Diplo is happy that Global Tuborg Open is helping artists from different geographical locations fuse ideas and work together.
“To be part of Tuborg Open for the second year is really cool. Nyashinski and Musyoka brought in their own interesting ideas and perspectives of staying open that made the track amazing and the collabo enjoyable” said Diplo.
“I love what I have learnt and experienced from working with Nyashinski and I am happy that what we started has now become something totally amazing,” added MØ.
