Nyashinski Brings Back Kleptomaniax In Eldoret

Rapper Nyashinki surprised a sold-out arena over the weekend in Eldoret after bringing out Kleptmaniax during his Shincity performance.

Nyashinski, who held his second edition of Shincity Live, brought out the famed trio for a cameo performance that rocked the crowd at Eldoret Sports Ground on Saturday night.

Kleptomaniax, which comprised of Nyanshinski, Roba and Collo, was one of the biggest rap groups in Kenya in the late 90s and 2000s, is behind big hits such as “Tuendele”, “Swing” and “Hare”.

Nyashinski celebrated the move saying that the group took over the Kenyan music industry way before a lot came into play. Seventeen years later, Nyashinski was more than proud to be on stage with the two.

“Before Social Media, Before Streaming, Before Podcasts, Before Google Maps, Before Uber, There was Kleptomaniax. 17 years later it’s still new… and we are still here… still us… and it’s all because of you,” he said on Twitter.

Other Kenyan artists who performed in the sold out event include rapper Femi One and Chris Kaiga.
