Premium whisky brand Johnnie Walker has announced Nyashinski as the national face of its new integrated marketing campaign – The Walkers. In line with Johnnie Walker’s long-standing philosophy of progress, this campaign seeks to re-ignite the meaning and intent behind the brand’s message.

Nyashinski is the perfect pick for this campaign as his career embodies true art and progress. Since his days at Kleptomaniacs to his current solo career, the Mungu Pekee singer has proven to be a force to reckon with. He boasts of a solid fan base in Kenya and beyond.
Earlier this year, Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) supported Nyashinski’s ShinCity Music Concert which was an immersive concert experience held at the Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi. Nyashinski expressed his delight at this new partnership, noting; “I want to be an inspiration to artists and others who look up to me. I believe in creating music that liberates peoples and souls”. As part of this campaign, Nyashinski will participate in various Johnnie Walker-led activities through inspiring storytelling to creatively and impactfully unpack what it really means to “Keep Walking.”

Speaking during the launch event held at the Waterfront Karen, KBL Managing Director John Musunga said; “As part of the Diageo family, we believe that brands mean much more when they stand for something. And Johnnie Walker, one of the most iconic brands in the world, has always stood for progress – pushing boundaries, challenging convention, and celebrating personal milestones in the pursuit of progress. That’s why we have invested heavily in creating partnerships that allow us to support local communities, nurture talent, and bring new experiences to our consumers.”
