Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold is set to visit Kenya as the headliner for the inaugural edition of the Destination Africa Festival. The event which is scheduled to take place on the 13th of November 2021, will be taking place at Waterfront Ngong Race Course.
The star-studded artist lineup of this festival will also feature Kenyan music heavyweights Rapper Nyashinski and singers Otile Brown and Xenia Manasseh who are set to wow the crowd with their live performance skills. On the decks will be respected DJs CNG the DJ, G Money, DJ Grauchi, Andy Young, and DJ Dream flaunting their mixes.
Adekunle, who recently dropped his highly anticipated collaboration with fellow Nigerian star Davido High is one of Nigeria’s most sought-after musical talents. The Lagos-born singer began to rise to stardom after releasing his single Sade, which was a cover of UK band One Direction’s song Story of My Life in 2015.
His music career is packed with various coveted accolades such as Nigeria Entertainment and City People Entertainment Awards just to mention a few. Some of the hits under Adekunle’s repertoire include; Something Different, Orente, Okay. Young Love and Pretty Girl among others.
