Nick Odhiambo Bids Radio Maisha Goodbye After Four Years

Popular radio personality Nick Odhiambo announced his exit from Radio Maisha after four years.

Through a post seen on his Twitter page posted just before his final show, Nick revealed that he had never imagined switching to Swahili radio.

“Today’s my final RHUMBA show on air after 4years at @radiomaisha!did I ever think I’d switch to Swahili radio? NOPE but the opportunity came and I took it. transitioning back to English radio in a few days tupige sherehe leo buuuuuurrrdan is burrrdaaan,” he wrote.

According to the local media house, Nick who hinted a move to English radio is on the verge of joining Hot 96 FM, a station owned by Royal Media Services and home to renowned journalist Jeff Koinange.

Nick joined Radio Maisha Nick where he hosted the Club Rhumba show every Monday to Friday alongside DJ Darius and DJ Works, from 7 pm to 10 pm. after working at Classic 105 for a decade. He however started his career as a voiceover artist.
