The Mega-Rider star who’s been relevant in the Kenyan music scene since 1999 and is considered a pioneer in shaping the sound of 254 music, is not done just yet. You know him from songs like Nasinzia, Butterfly, Ninanoki, Deadly, African Beauty, the list can go on and on, but what stands out is the longevity aspect.
His new record is titled ‘Inspire’ released over the weekend sticks to his usual style of sing-rap but more melancholic. The Afro-pop dancehall beat by Ogopa DJs settles well with his husky voice and I know the ladies will be in for a treat on this one. He describes a passionate love that inspires the heart, mind, body, and soul.
The video is shot in the grasslands of Oloitoktok. The sight of the plains inspired Nameless to write the jam I bet from the beauty and serenity of nature. On a TV Interview, he speaks about being inspired by his wife and kids to live a better life. Hence the message to the young people to love unconditionally. Discipline and talent has kept him afloat over the years.
The song is a follow-up to his collabo with Gravitti Band- Sweetie which is already doing well in terms of airplay. We hope this release leads to a body of work soon.
