Award-winning Kenyan poster who is making ripples in the Kenyan scene is on an upward trajectory and Kenyans are rocking with her. Nadia Mukami is currently enjoying massive attention from the media, and on the ground, and she keeps delivering outstanding music like her latest single ‘Tesa’ that features Khaligraph Jones and Fena.
The jam has hit near million views on Youtube in a week just like her previous collabos. The Mwihoko born singer has opened up about how the project shaped up and came to be.
According to Nadia, the initial plan was to work with Naiboi but as fate would have it, she scored on the OG – Khaligraph Jones. “First and foremost, Khaligraph was not the person who was supposed to originally appear on the video. The plan was for me to work with Naiboi and Fena. But for some reasons, that changed along the way, I actually got the song recorded about a year ago. The producer then lost the vocals and we had to start again from scratch. The good thing is that Fena and Khaligraph were really understanding”. She told the Standard.
Nadia boasts of her great management that is working extra hard to push her material and release multiple bangers.
“I want to leave a legacy as one of the best artistes Africa ever had and that is why I am pushing had. I don’t want to be the best female singer. No! I want to be the best singer. My strategy now is to get this Nadia Mukami brand across Africa. I have a number of projects that are specifically meant for that,” she affirms.
We would love to see Nadia and Naiboi on a track in the future.
