Nadia Mukami Crowned Best Female Artist In East Africa

Kenyan musician Nadia Mukami has officially been crowned the queen of music in the East African region at the 2023 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMAs) in Dallas, Texas, US on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Mukami was nominated for the award with other artists like Zuchu and Maua Sama from Tanzania.

“The Biggest celebration: THE WEIGHT LOSS. I feel like God’s Favorite because I really struggled for months and I hated music videos and pictures in General! I thank God for his unconditional love and always giving me three things! Grace, Mercy & Favor. Queen of the East is my New Name Now, Thank you Afrimma,” Nadia Mukami wrote via social media.

Fans congratulated her, saying that it is the year that she has put a lot into her music.

Nadia has also been nominated for the Trace awards which will soon be held for the first time in Africa, in Kigali.
